About Us

At The Wild Garden Box, our mission is simple: to help people rewild their gardens and give nature the helping hand it deserves.

Founded by Simon Miles in South West London, The Wild Garden Box was born from a lifelong love of wildlife and a growing concern for the decline of birds, bees, butterflies, and other garden visitors. Simon has spent years watching the subtle changes in local wildlife — fewer birds at the feeders, fewer insects in the summer air — and decided it was time to do something meaningful about it.

We believe that small changes can make a big difference. Every box is carefully curated to provide the right support for the creatures in your garden, exactly when they need it. That means wildflower seedballs to create rich feeding grounds for pollinators, hedgehog food to help our prickly friends thrive, and bird seed chosen to attract and sustain native bird species. Nothing goes to waste, and everything has a purpose.

Our approach is simple:

- Feed what's here today

- Grow for the future

- Create a balanced, thriving habitat right outside your door.

Whether you’re new to wildlife gardening or a seasoned nature lover, The Wild Garden Box makes it easy — and joyful — to support the birds, insects, and mammals that make our gardens so special.

We handmake everything ourselves, taking particular care over what's best for each season. We believe in not just letting our customers know what seeds they're getting and what flowers will grow as a result, but also explaining to them exactly what they'll be helping within each box, and the positive impact it will make. We want our customers to feel like they're part of a rewilding community. We see this as a wildlife mission, not a business.

Together, one garden at a time, we can help the UK’s wildlife flourish again by feeding the now, and growing the future.
